Ghee Mandige/ Maande
Mandige is one of Karnataka’s most iconic traditional sweets, known for its thin layered texture, mild sweetness and rich aroma of pure ghee. For decades, Mandige has been an essential part of weddings, Brahmin ceremonies and festive occasions. Due to the skill required to prepare it, very few artisans in Karnataka still make Mandige the traditional way.
